Is it Accepted?

We accept gently used and new items. Check here for items currently accepted.

Damaged?

Please do not drop off items with severe damage like major holes or rips. Small damages may be offered in our “free” bin.

Clean?

We ask that you wash and neatly fold all used clothes prior to drop off. Please do not donate dirty clothes or clothes with excessive stains.

Womens Clothing: all sizes

Girl's clothes: newborn-adult

Women & girls shoes: all sizes

Boys clothes: newborn-kids size 16

Women's Accessories: jewelry, purses, wallets, backpacks, hats, hair accessories (including wigs), sunglasses, scarves, shoes, belts, earmuffs, & gloves.

We Do NOT Accept:

Worn/used underwear (boxers, briefs, underpants)
Men's clothing
Household items (towels, blankets, sheets, etc.)
Kitchen/appliances
Toys, books, or stuffed animals

FAQ’s

How should I pack my donations?

Please neatly fold and pack your clean donation items in bags or boxes - most people use garbage bags!

Do you take damaged items?

Please do not drop off items with severe damage such as major holes, rips, or stains. There are small damages that can be repaired, but others would be offered in our “free” bin.

Can I get a tax deductible receipt?

Yes! Please ask for one when you drop off your donation or click here.

What is your return policy?

Because of our extremely low pricing and the ability to try items on in our store, there are no cash backs or exchanges. However, re-donations are welcome!

What if I donated something by accident?

Lydia’s Closet cannot guarantee the recovery or return of items donated by mistake once they have been placed for sale. We highly suggest double checking your items before donating! Donations are processed fairly quickly, so if you believe an item was donated by mistake, please contact or visit us as soon as possible (ideally within 1–2 days) so our processing team can check for it. Once an item is placed on the sales floor, it is available for purchase.
